Improve your skills this off season! This program runs one day per week and will cover all of the baseball fundamentals as well as basic strength and conditioning to aid in injury prevention and improve athleticism.
Our focus with our young athletes is to instill greater self- confidence on and off the field. Diamondawgs facilitates that through athletic development in their baseball and athletic FUNdamentals. At their age, having the confidence to hit, catch, throw and field well is paramount to their athletic success. While baseball fundamentals will be the main focus, we will also be offering an introductory strength and conditioning aspect to this age group. Though at their age it may not be necessary to be lifting weights, it is crucial to educate pre-teens on arm health and care, sprint and agility mechanics, and to learn how to rotate effectively to throw and hit harder.
Other information about this Diamondawgs camp:
- Focus on development of arm strength & arm care education
- Athletic development through basic strength training and conditioning/movement skills
- age group of 8-12
- Low coach to player ratio
- Radar gun readings on throwing and hitting velocity
